Individual Therapy
Therapy provides a place where you can truly feel understood and supported.
Therapy approach and style
Emma’s approach to therapy is warm and collaborative. She is trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming, and her practice is grounded in curiosity, empathy, and openness. Emma aims to create a supportive environment where clients can feel comfortable truly being themselves without fear of judgement.
Her practice draws from Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), as well as techniques from Internal Family Systems (IFS), which she tailors to the unique needs of each individual client.
Specialities and experience
Emma has extensive experience supporting adults experiencing anxiety, trauma and complex PTSD (CPTSD), relationship difficulties, perfectionism, and neurodivergence-related stress (such as executive dysfunction and Autistic burnout). She loves building in grounded strategies for emotional regulation and supporting self-esteem through practices of self-compassion.
She is passionate about supporting the unique experiences of women and non-binary clients, particularly those who are neurodivergent and high-masking.
Who Emma works with
Emma supports therapy clients across Australia aged 18 and over, offering affirming and inclusive care. Her practice welcomes individuals of all backgrounds, sexualities, gender diversities, and neurotypes.

Emma currently offers in-person sessions only, on Fridays at Evergreen Studio in Thornbury, Melbourne. At this time, she is not taking on new online therapy clients.
