Assessment Structure:
Step 1: You will receive several intake forms and questionnaires from Emma. These are designed to gather a general understanding of your experiences and should be completed by you, someone who knew you well in childhood (if available), and a person who knows you well currently.
Step 2: Emma will meet with you for an initial 2 to 3-hour appointment to discuss any additional background information and conduct ADHD measures as needed.
Step 3: In a subsequent 2 to 3-hour appointment, Emma will complete the Autism measures with you.
Step 4: Post-appointments, Emma will engage in extensive writing, analysis, and formulation to synthesise the gathered information.
Step 5: Approximately 4-6 weeks after your appointments, you will have a feedback session with Emma, during which you can ask any questions. You will receive your comprehensive report or diagnostic summary via email shortly before this session.
Cost for diagnostic summary only (including an overview of assessment results, formal diagnoses, and recommendations): $1650.
Cost for full comprehensive report (including full background information, detailed assessment results across each criterion, formal diagnoses, and recommendations): $2200.
Important Note on ADHD Assessments:
If you are considering medication, we recommend seeking an assessment through a psychiatrist, as this may be more cost-effective and help streamline the process. Psychological assessments for ADHD focus primarily on identity. Emma is happy to conduct these assessments as long as there is no expectation for immediate medication. Otherwise, she will likely refer you to your GP with a recommendation to see a psychiatrist.
