Emma aims to make the assessment process supportive and comfortable, exploring your experiences, strengths, and challenges. This process typically includes:
Pre-assessment questionnaires: Emma sends through several forms and questionnaires to be completed prior to the assessment.
Assessment session: The assessment session is completed online, exploring your history and experiences. Emma will guide questions and clarify information as needed, with the goal of understanding and accurately representing your story.
Report: A report is prepared, which will include assessment information, questionnaire results, and recommendations.
Feedback session: A follow-up session is provided where Emma will provide any clarification and support you in planning your next steps.
-
Emma aims to provide a supportive and collaborative environment for therapy. The initial therapy sessions focus on understanding your experiences and concerns, exploring your preferences, and developing goals together.
Therapy sessions aim to help you build strategies and insights that can be applied in everyday life, with space for reflection, practice, and active engagement. Change takes time, and clients are supported in building self-understanding within a compassionate and open-minded space.

We are unable to make any promises around NDIS eligibility, as these decisions are made solely by the NDIS.
If opting for a comprehensive report, this can be used as evidence for a diagnosis, but sometimes NDIS require additional documentation from other health professionals to support an application.
For specific questions, it’s best to contact the NDIS directly or your local NDIS office.

Assessments: A referral is not required for an assessment. Clients under 25 may be eligible for a Medicare rebate with a referral from a psychiatrist, though this is optional.
Therapy: A referral is not required to see a psychologist for therapy. For Medicare rebates, clients will need a Mental Health Care Plan from their regular GP, which covers 10 sessions per year.
